Use your skills for Democracy: Swing Left hiring developer and data scientist

Swing Left (swingleft.org) is focused on winning back the House for Democrats in the November midterm elections because it is the most immediate and achievable way to put a check on the Trump presidency. Our theory of change is to help redistribute the abundance of enthusiasm in deep blue districts to 78 identified swing districts. We have hundreds of thousands of members around the country and an experienced technology team (including Google and venture-backed startup alums) building the tools to channel their energy into the most impactful activism possible. We're a small collaborative organization where you'll have a significant impact and can truly help reshape our Democracy.

We're looking to fill two full-time roles through the November election and possibly longer:

(1) A full-stack generalist developer to help mobilize hundreds of thousands of volunteers, to support the growth of our user base and feature set, and to support the rest of the organization through automation. Prior Python experience a must. Apply at: https://swing-left.breezy.hr/p/0cb23160783f-software-developer

(2) A data scientist or analyst who lives and breathes SQL, and ideally can do some Python scripting and modeling. Explore our engagement and fundraising data to make informed strategic decisions and develop algorithms on how best to deploy our resources for electoral impact.
