I cannot get the most basic Get started example working. I used pts-starter-kit. The canvas shows up and I can set the bgcolor no problem, but the point does not render.
pts-starter-kit comes with an example demo (in index.html). Does that work for you?

Yes, the demo works. But replacing the code in app.js with the code from the intro doesn't.
