Does anyone on HN use Pega? What is your opinion?

I was first introduced to Pega 7 years ago because my company I worked at adopted it as the go to solution for building all applications. To me the company stands out as a bit of an oddity because it is a closed proprietary tool set with very little information out there in public. Many developers hate it because it sucks all creativity out of their work and it puts so many constraints around what and how you can build. Yet upper management loves the company because Pega does stellar job marketing its capabilities as panacea.

Does anyone here work at company that use Pega?
