Ask HN: Tool for Managing Devices Being Tested

I have been investigating the market for tooling recently for testing that has both a hardware and software component, and while I've found (and had previously known about) test case management tools like qTest, one thing that I've not seen much if any offerings for is a tool that tracks and coordinates test hardware (i.e. user XYZ is currently utilizing test Android device 123 for test foo, user ABC in the queue to use this hardware for test bar, and maybe user DEF "owns" this hardware and these other users and borrowing it). I can't tell if there just isn't that much out there in terms of tools, or maybe I'm asking the wrong people/searching for the wrong terms.

Does anyone know of a flexible test device management tool or system (could be for mobile, embedded, IoT or anything similar, and can be open source or paid) that allows users to define test devices/systems (like a server or an IoT device or similar) with custom attributes and to coordinate usage of these between users and tests? Maybe even better if it allowed devices to be grouped together (like this IP enabled sensor is supposed to be talking to this server, both of which are tracked in this tool).
