I need to be able to buy it in quantity 1 without talking to a salesman. For embedded, that pretty much means Digikey, and for general-purpose compute that means Newegg.

There are plenty of economically interesting use cases where neither of those things are true, but I don't consider any of them to be computers in and of themselves.
