Ask HN: Experiences moving to a new country as a 20-something developer?

I'm a 26 year old, single, developer based in Europe who is playing with the idea of moving to another EU country for work.

Does anyone have good and bad experiences they want to share? I'm thinking mostly about the social aspect of it all, even if the bureaucracy of it can be considerable I think I'll manage that.

I usually don't have any problems making friends, but on the other hand I always had an existing friend circle in most cities I lived in, and moving to somewhere completely new feels somewhat daunting.

If I do this, it feels natural to try and find a company with people more my age, that maybe is somewhat large and hires batches of people at the same time.
