Allston Christmas is more like the week before September first. With a guaranteed UHaul on Storrow that got its roof torn off.

Best part of Sep 1st is the vids of moving trucks getting can-opened on Storrow Drive.

That looks to me as though dropping the road 10" would solve the problem nicely.

That would let people drive trucks on Storrow, and they aren't supposed to do that. It gets enough traffic as it is/
