Ellen Pao on the Perverse Incentives Helping Incels Thrive at Tech Companies

The behaviors she describes are exactly what I've witnessed occurring with any and all overly political/identity groups at tech companies.

People who attach their identity to immutable traits, rather than accomplishments, are losers. Losers are haters. Ethno nationalists, incels, radical feminists, all part of the same virus.

She was fired for mainly upsetting the community by doing things such as firing Victoria, it seems odd we're now blaming supposed 'incels and misogynists' for calling for Ellen's firing and standing up for Victoria.

Reddit is the best possible example of why you SHOULDN'T let political ideology drive a technology company.

Oh good, another hit piece on tech workers.

So according to Ellen Pao, incels "share many values and tactics with white supremacist, men’s rights, and alt-right groups".

Really? She's going to lump men's rights activists in with white supremacists (and whatever alt-right means to her).

She's a con artist plain and simple. She filed a failed lawsuit against her old employer and lost yet she manipulated the media into presenting the case as if she won. She tried to take away people's ability to negotiate a salary when she was CEO of Reddit and now she's after "incels". The media has supported each and every one of these attacks on the technology industry. Why is that and how do we get it to stop?
