Are your bazillion bugs not in the ~14k issues that are on their gnome project page?

I would have used "umpteen", sounds large, but it's only in the teens.

Yeah, but that's teens in a base-ump number system.

I realized a while ago that any hyperbolic ('eleventy billion' style, not counting cases where the actual value counts) number only needs to be about 10x the expected value to sound large. Further orders of magnitude don't seem to add any extra emotional impact after that.
