Ask HN: The one true library for asynchronous Python requests?

By my count, I see:

* txrequests: https://github.com/tardyp/txrequests

* requests-futures: https://github.com/ross/requests-futures

* requests-twisted: https://github.com/sametmax/requests-twisted

* requests-threads: https://github.com/requests/requests-threads

* grequests: https://github.com/kennethreitz/grequests

Any criteria to gauge which one is likely to be the standard?

Github stars is one measure, but it doesn't indicate current/future development and support.

Anyone use any of these -- pros and cons? Trying to decide which one to use for a project.
