Spammers on HN? It's more likely than you think

We Aussies, home of the Ugg boot, remember them well (well, we never really forgot, we just went through a brief period of amusement when the daggy (pun intended) footwear we wear with pyjamas on a cold night started showing up on fashion show runways!)

And yes - they are ugly!

Hello, your blog is really nice. I be looking for informations like this long time, my partner and I just saw it and it good, plus the design is really nice. You're so much gooder blogger than so many of the spammers.

I've recently seen a lot of spam on my blog that isn't caught by Akismet, which is fairly atypical.
