My hope is that a vulnerability like this sparks the right public discussion to get real change effected in a positive way, but in the current political climate I am sadly not optimistic.

On a more serious note, being young makes it appears as though the congress-person is taking advantage of an "impressionable" employee. Being good looking makes it look like the relationship only exists because of the congress-person's rank.
