Ask HN: Is there an app/website for gathering market research?

Part of the process of launching a new product is asking the people that you THINK would buy your product if they ACTUALLY would buy your product. But as I prepare to start a new business selling a subscription based web application, I'm having a hard time finding a significant number of people to ask that are qualified. Google is helping me find a place for running market research on a mass level with targeted results. Can HN help?
