I'm working on a product with a 10 year old codebase which is .. not always pretty. Gui classes thousands of lines long, UI and logic mixed together. DB with date + minutes after midnight that breaks every year during daylight saving time.

Anyhow, we got some new architects. They slowing turn things around, but they first started doing so after a few month. Might help that the worst parts where not implemented by people still working here.
