GP is the one who said he'd move to linux if there were games. I didn't imply he was wrong for using Windows. I think you (and all other siblings) are reading more into my comment than there actually is.
Last time I tried it a few years ago, it was ~10fps on linux, and a solid 100+fps on windows.
