Ask HN: How to get Google/android's attention to resolve a specific bug(s)?

Hi HN,

I wanted to ask HN folks here on how we can get google/Android to resolve a specific bug related to wifi/networking area quickly. I (and couple of other folks) have already logged similar or same issue and google has just responded saying we have passed on the issue.

#1. What is the general timeline for bug resolution? #2. Is it patched or I need to wait for new Android release? #3. Is there a way to get in contact with someone in Android to expedite fixes? #4. What is the probability that the fix done by google lands up with Samsung, LG and other big OEM handset operators? (I hope all the Nexus/Pixel devices will get fixed automatically) #5. Any other suggestions?
