IIRC, this graphic was actually mentioned in the Reddit discussion. The op didn't seem to think it was 'spammy' per se, but it is clearly lacking in demonstrable value (that is, vs simple text)
I agree, after seeing that reddit IAMA some time ago about infographics and spamming for search engine rank, I immediately thought that too.
