Decent battery life, nice screen, headphone jack, didn't break the bank and it doesn't look like it cost considerably less than half what a top tier phone does, camera isn't awesome but it's good enough and tbh I don't use it much.
I'd buy another if I broke it tomorrow.
Removable batteries... not so much.
Not sure how that would work with phones with a white face, but those seem less common.
Making a true edge-to-edge phone is impossible, and the notch IMO is the more aesthetically pleasing of the two options.
The Pixel 2 is another great example. Supposed to be edge to edge, but just looks almost-there-but-not-quite in practice.
