Teaching is part skill and part craft and like so many other creative areas there are plenty of different styles that can appeal to different personalities and preferences. I'm likely the developer that's in your target audience: a self-taught Junior in a feature factory with no mentorship and 'agile' cycles that have you always on the next thing after the other.
