Reading this makes me think it's the opening to a sci-fi movie. Sure is damn scary that it's actual fact.

I wonder how much of society will deny AI just like they are with human generated climate change?

The difference is we don't need AI. We need the planet.

I wonder if we really don't need AI. It's not like we have amazing ideas on how to save the planet and reverse global warming realistically. Sure, there _are_ ideas but the costs seem comically high.

Maybe AI could help us do that, and make cold fusion work while it's at it ;-) [I'm only half joking, actually]

We need AI to keep the planet.
