Ask HN: Would you pay to have tamper-free videos?
Good day. I'm doing a project in a 'collaborative solutions' course on AI and its effect on the world. Our topic is focusing on the recent 'Deepfakes' extravaganza where people have used the software Fake App to make fake celebrity porn (and some funny Nicholas Cage videos). Our premise is that in the near future, journalists and governments will need a way to verify that their video recordings haven't been tampered with. If I were serious about turning this into an Minimum Viable Product, I would do that instead of asking, but I'm not really sure I could pull off such a task by myself (and I have doubts that anyone would be interested). Any thoughts?
