Right now, there are three highly negative Facebook articles on the front page of HN, simultaneously:
* this article, about Unilever pulling ads from Facebook and Google
* an article about Facebook losing 2.8 million US users under 25 last year: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=16360408
* an article about German courts ruling that Facebook's use of personal data is illegal: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=16361614
The way people on HN feel about any technology today is how the rest of the world will feel about it tomorrow.[a]
This does not bode well for Facebook.
