e: nvm, I just found this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7J5mxaQ2xA
Jokes aside, I don't want to see too much of this at future consumer shows.
Edit: holy downvoting brigades, what have I done?
also, you missed the joke.
Don't worry, it only works if you don't expect it, else you get desensitized.
A world where this is the sole form of advertising is far, far better than the one with TV ads and billboards which we currently got. Why? Its informative, thought-provoking / stimulates critical thinking, its a form of humor, and it is very much optional / choice.
The only bad thing you get with Netflix, is DRM, and some heavy internal profiling to keep you hooked. But the latter is arguably a good thing.
EDIT: Spoilers, indeed. Sorry!
Just finished the last episode of Season 4 Black Mirror called Black Museum [1] and it covers this subject as well. You can say the same about the infamous San Junipero [2].
You could even argue the manga/anime Ghost In The Shell is also about that [3].
Can recommend all of the above. Thought provoking, suspenseful, and emotionally touching.
