Ask HN: Which cryptocurrency to mine in Jan 2018 with a GTX 1070?

Hello, Insiders say that a GTX 1060 is good enough to start mining for fun so I would like a shot for a week soon after Jan 1, just to understand how it works. WhatToMine.com is a good reference, which one then? I am being directed towards Ripple, IoTA, Steem and Cardano for a punt. Any tip? Thanks!
