Ask HN: Starting a consulting company

I've quit my permanent job and moving to New York new jersey area to run my own consulting company. I have secured my first contract with an investment bank there.

Please provide your advice/recommendation on selecting a payroll service and obtaining health insurance for me and my family.

Also any suggestion / advice in general on running a consulting company will be greatly appreciated.
