What do you mean when you say cryptotech?

"blockchain, et al"

Block tech or chain tech might be a better phrase

Or decentralized ledger / dledger tech.

Cryptographically enabled decentralized systems

Does Git [1] qualify?

How about you say blockchain then. Crypto is a much larger and older field.
