Crypto is not cryptocurrency

While I sympathise with the intent, to stop this particular debasement of language, I doubt this is an effective way to go about it. It's an anonymous voice shouting into the void.

I think admonishing people to speak and write properly is a genuinely worthy pursuit. If you've got, say, a tech blog or forum, you can set language-policing posting guidelines. Some people might complain, but just ban them (if they're persistent/stubborn offenders.)

But you do realize that "cryptocurrency" might very well be THE everyday use product/experiment that successfully demonstrates and educates the average human on the social implications of 'Crypto'.

Don't be so quick to distance your self from it.

Did you really need font-awesome, bluma and Open Sans for that website ?

Sure just like "hackers" are the good guys and "crackers" are the bad guys.

Seems accurate to me, but people will be too lazy to type all of that every time.
