After reading the docs though I couldn't find any mention of tree-shaking or other things that would shrink the final bundle size. Any word on that front?

Especially since Webpack's tree-shaking doesn't _really_ work for a lot of third party libraries:

I imagine Rollup might do a bit better on that front since its the bundler that popularized tree-shaking in the first place. Can anyone with experience with Rollup comment on this?
