No consumers will not benefit. In a free market economy nobody benefits if they are limited to purchasing from one party only.

Couldn't agree more. Reminds me of the concept of the "company store" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Company_store)

But I get 5% back on every purchase that I can use to buy more from Amazon!
