Ask HN: Why Does Google Finance Still Require Adobe Flash Player?

Do they really just not care about that product whatsoever?

I have not had flash installed on my computers for at least 2 years now.

Youtube made the switch away from Flash a few years ago as well.

Why does Google Finance still require Flash?

I was just trying to lookup historical Facebook prices, and was met with a bright yellow warning asking me to "allow" Adobe Flash. [0]
