Ask HN: T470 vs. T570 Thinkpad for coding

I am looking at a T470 and T570 of identical configuration. Both have 1080p screens, i5-7300U Processor,8gb RAM.

I prefer the 15" screen of T570. The last time I owned a T5x0 series, the keyboard was Ten-Key-Less. So the addition of the new numeric keypad seems bothersome when one has code without having to keep glancing at the keyboard. Is it possible to disable the numeric keypad? Does anyone here have any feedback regarding T570?
