I just use double-ROT-13 as my TPM, that way I can invoke the DMCA too!

Double-Rot-13 is a cost effective alternative to Rot-52 but of course only half as secure.

People responsible for data protection in Equifax know perfectly well how the data is stored[]. The CEO, evidently, does not. No news here, just a headline to provoke outrage.

[] Yes, "no protection" is also a way of storing data.

You'd think that when you're the CEO of a company going off to talk to Congress about your company's recent data security problem, you might, I dunno... bone up on a few pieces of information about how your own company does security? Crazy thought, I know.
