Ask HN: Why can't I play YouTube videos inside Facebook anymore?

I googled this but I couldn't find anything useful. Facebook compels me to open YouTube videos in new tabs like normal links instead of playing it inside Facebook. Is this the new trick by Facebook to advance it's video business and make people more unwilling to open YouTube videos?
