Ask HN: How many are facing problems with GCM/FCM push notification delivery?

We provide a service to our customers which includes sending push notifications to their users. At times, GCM has delivery issues that our clients tend to hold us responsible for. We face even more issues when dealing with Chinese manufactured handsets. Have you faced any such issues and what steps have you take to resolve them. This question is specifically for GCM/FCM.
