TouchID has been removed from the iPhone X.

TouchID is replaced by FaceID which I assume likewise eliminates the vast majority of password prompts?

Everything that uses the TouchID API should seamlessly use FaceID instead on the X

Doesn't it have a password/pin fallback though?

Yes, just like TouchID.
