The name mislead me to believe that it had something to do with haskell. I guess I thought too deeply into the anagram.
akshell: server side javascript development and hosting. sounds interesting, but is not quite what I had in mind. it should be possible to save the application locally.
There's a command line tool that lets you make a local copy of the code & support for running apps locally is in the works.
