Physicists send particles of light into the past, prove time travel is possible

Original title had a "?" at the end. According to the article this was a simulation, not an experiment. (I.e. nobody sent any particles of light anywhere.)

From the article: "the researchers (and their team/colleagues) emphasize that their model is mathematically equivalent to a single photon traveling through a CTC. Nothing has actually been sent back through time though"

Original article (with working links): http://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/12/07/physicists-se...

Direct quote from the article: "..it's just a mathematical simulation..."

Ridiculous title and claim from journalists that don't learn physics. The title of the original paper is "Experimental simulation of closed timelike curves". Cue the word "simulation".
