And it ain't exactly new. I remember some ancient slashdot article about Asia Carrera doing her own site – well, back in those days that was probably necessary.
Actually there are quite a few famous pornstars and playmates with very good education and a high IQ.
And yeah, I'm aware that undressing for money doesn't automatically make you stupid. I just doubt her programming credentials. I've come to terms that every porn actor and actress is apparently immidiately a porn "star", but I won't budge on being more reluctant calling someone a programmer.
I think you are reading too much in to it.
Where did you get the impression that this conveys a message that "women can't do difficult things like computers and math"? It has nothing to do with being difficult but everything to do with being a rare combination. The same way a women who becomes the president of USA would be an interesting phenomena (as long as she is not palin), not because that women are not smart enough to be a president, but because its a rare combination. How many women + programmer + pornstar do you know?
Maybe you should take a chill pill.
I loathe everything about Sarah Palin, but!, I would also argue that her presidential campaign will be way more interesting than Hillary's will - especially if she wins.
