The proportion of the general population that has applied to YC is vanishingly small. There is plenty of room for incubators with different priorities, and different intentional and incidental biases. Do you think YC is adversely affecting the startup landscape?
What percentage of people in YCombinator are black, gay, Muslim, or otherwise? Would low percentages of people with these labels be "pathetic"?
