Those who trust rich people are just going to help out of their own volition aren't any better. Well to do have no incentive and no moral obligation to help.

Your elected officials have both an incentive and moral obligation to help, it's their job. And it's trash talk to say those who trust the government are to blame for their situation as if they shouldn't or can't hold them accountable.
