In case of WSJ, the workaround requires not just a subscription, but the paid subscription -- yes, you have to pay $$$$ to read the article. It's very annoying and disrespectful to the community. And it ruins the spirit of the open resources like HN.

i didn't say there was one. i don't know one way or the other. what i am saying is that IF there isn't a workaround, you're right that it shouldn't be posted, but that isn't actually a change to the existing rule. i think you're just asking for better enforcement?
