Quality of Essential Phone Hardware?

Any Essential Phone Engineer here? Any one has any idea who is Essential Phone hardware manufacturer? Would it last more than one year or just die one day post warranty like Nexus devices? By any chance we ask for a warranty of 5 years for any future phones which are above 500$? Have we not even become capable of producing a device which would last 5 years when TV, Laptop and many other electronic devices do?
