Still waiting for the day when I can buy a computer wth a full color e-paper display and sit out in the sunlight to work.

Mirasol [1] was very promising in this regard. A reflective, bystable display is also one of my dreams.

So, fast refresh e-paper displays?

I'd like a very large, performant-enough display for solely for editing in vi. Even that is still just a dream, as far as I can tell.

Have you taken a look at the Dasung Paperlike yet? http://www.dasung.com/english/

have you? how's real world usage? is ghosting as bad as every other eink?

Is this more advanced than just an Indiegogo pre-order?

This reminds me of reMarkable (https://remarkable.com/).

Honestly I'd be fine with a slowish refresh, I'm not gonna be playing games, I'd be running Illustrator.
