What do you think of big data companies?

Hello everyone!

Not so long ago my colleague and I decided to implement big data technologies in our company. After reviewing many different solutions on the internet, we came across some promises that seemed too futuristic. And since the majority of these solutions have a rather high price, a question arises of how realistic the claims of such companies are and if their use is justified.

We talk about such companies as: test4startup.com, quid.com, predicthq.com

Thank you in advance for your answers!
