Why is it hard to find an opening for an electrical engineer?

i had been going every month through the thread of who's hiring in HN but most of them if not all are for software engineers, why there aren't opening for electrical/ hardware engineers?

I think HN is not the better way to find a opportunity for electrics...

Maybe there are some hardware startups hiring EE's around here.
