The rest varies from day to day, depending on what i'm working on. It can be anything from Github to Sci-Hub and everything in between. I'm currently restoring and expanding a 17th century farm house so add sites about swapping rotten logs in a log house to the mix ('just lift the house, remove the rotten bits and put fresh logs in'. Which works fine, task accomplished using 2 €40 20 ton capacity hydraulic bottle jacks and some logs I had lying around).

I'd be interested to see your personal news aggregator – I too made myself a personally customised one – https://readspike.com – anyone else make their own after the death of Google reader?

The software is nothing special and can be installed by anyone: Nextcloud [1] running the News [2] app. The virtue of the thing is that you can point it at any RSS/Atom feed you want and have the result appear in categories of your choice. This is not limited to 'news' of course, any type of feed will work. I use it to keep up with activities on selected Github repos, commits show up as news items in the feed. There are accompanying apps for mobile devices but I tend to rely on the web interface even when using something mobile.

No, there's not much functionality, just a site for my own amusement really. One day I'd like to, and also make it so you can add your own feeds

I wrote one a simple php script to pull in some rss feeds and present. It also loads a link by get request and strips out ads and other unwanted junk. Nothing special, but it does the job

how do you organize and rank with hundreds of sources? I suppose you can't read it all :)
