Ask HN: Who Uses Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML)?

I'm starting a large and enduring ML project soon and I wondered how you guys think about PMML as a core abstraction for modelling?

I love the idea of producing a model in R or Matlab, exporting to PMML and then deploying to my Spark evaluator to crunch it. Does this bare resemblance to reality though?
