It's funny to me that so many people on the "PHP is bad" bandwagon are apparently perfectly cool with writing every damned thing in Javascript.

At least on the server there is an option, but agreed! Also, PHP is bad.

Would have answered a JS post the same way..

Everything should be written in Typescript if you need Javascript.

I hope not, purescript is a much more sensible option.
