Ask HN: What is a good/common GitHub workflow?
I'm trying to figure out how to better organize work on GitHub for my team.
So far we've used issues, and releases, and added notes to the README.
I see that there are issues, milestones, projects, and the wiki.
I've looked at a few open source projects, but they only seem to be using issues.
Is it common to create milestones like "prototype, beta, 1.0, 2.0", and assign issues to the milestones to see how far along are you?
Do a lot of teams use projects, or it's more common to use a third-party tool like Basecamp?
Finally, is it a good practice to use wikis for tutorials on how to contribute and use the software, or it's better/common practice to use another tool?
