Knuth's earthshaking announcement

Edit: Knuth is messing with twitter on purpose. http://yfrog.com/1qpplvj

TeXML already exists. This must be a joke. Besides, look at the guy's other posts:

http://mobile.twitter.com/jeyjey

"jeyjey Also no escape sequences, menu driven, and speech recognize. Named iTeX."

Ooh, the suspense is killing me. This is almost as exciting as when Opera reinvented the web.

So iTex is apparently a joke... Anyone know what the actual announcement is? Or was he joking about that too?

Not exactly TeX, but LaTeX 3 is basically the Perl 6 of that world and has been under development for a loooong time: http://www.latex-project.org/latex3.html

So, TeXML?

Yeah, didn't see that one coming.

He is kidding right? iTex?

fake!
